Quilted hand dyed blue cushion with grey top edge. This cushion is inspired by the sea and winds surrounding the Isle of Lewis. Embroidery represents plotting the sounds of wind movement, and screen print and dyed base nods to the Hebridean blue waves surrounding the island. Materials – Wool, cotton, zip, cotton wadding, feather cushion filled.
 
Dimensions – 35 x 45 cm.
 
Techniques – Quilting, machine stitching, machine embroidery, screen print and dye bath.
